Kate And William’s Royal Baby Boy Craze

If you think that the Royal Wedding was really something worth mentioning, you haven’t seen the effects of the Royal Baby! Oh, wait, no, it’s #RoyalBaby ! Because, as it was to be expected, the Royal Baby has his own hashtag! Which has generated more than 2Million tweets sending Twitter into inevitable meltdown (at one point, the social media service counted more than 25k tweets/minute!).

But wait, that’s not all! The British troops expressed their joy at the birth announcement in their own manner while one of Britain’s Got Talent’s finalists, Jack Carroll, started cracking jokes at the #RoyalBaby’s expense and got everyone mad. On Twitter, biensur!

There’s (so much) more (including a video after the jump)!

British troops RoyalBaby announcement

A Royal Bedroom has been put together by the ever-ready blogosphere so there’s really nothing left to do for the Royal Couple but to pick one of the ideas and assembly the homey oasis for the #RoyalBaby. An eager mother-of-two even offered to give advice to the young new mother, the Duchess of Cambridge by self appointing herself as a post-pregnancy counselor.

However, Prince William forgot to thank her and whoever else published their crazy ideas in regards to the #RoyalBaby when he issued the official thank you note also on behalf of his wife, Kate Middleton:

“We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received. We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone – staff, patients and visitors – for their understanding during this time.”

crowds waiting for the RoyalBaby

Crowds waited outside London’s Lido Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital where the Royal Couple had the #RoyalBaby and were absolutely delighted to see the Royal Couple presenting their wee one without fuss, with smiles and parents dressed in soft blue coordinated outfits. Wished we had a better view at the wee cutie pie, though…

Until then, however, we’ve got Early Learning Center’s limited edition royal baby sets, a special way to celebrate the #RoyalBaby in Happyland with 50,000 sets ready to offer playful happiness for so many homes!

Penelope Cruz before giving birth to baby girl

But do you know what happened the very same day the #RoyalBaby arrived? Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem welcomed a baby girl! Imagine that, she’s sharing her birthday with a future King! And how very convenient was it for the happy couple to deliver their baby in full discretion, hidden underneath the huge umbrella of popularity offered by the birth of the #RoyalBaby ? Congrats to Penelope and Javier for their baby girl and quick recovery for the happy mother of two!

The Sun RoyalBaby special edition

Fashion hasn’t been insensitive at this new amazing event and since the Center of Retail Research in Nottingham estimates, according to wwd, a significant increase in baby related items by $368 Millions, famous fashion designers were asked to present themselves with a gift they would give to the #RoyalBaby, he who is set to become King, the 43rd British monarch since 1066, when William the Conqueror was King! The designers picked through their imagination and came up with beautiful, over-the-fashion-top items they would gift the newborn!

But so many drawings of fantastic presents the designers would offer to the #RoyalBaby can’t say but one thing: the world is happy to welcome the wee one and wishes him only the best, the most beautiful and the most expensive, whimsy, delicate and refined anything in the world!

Laying on the couch, trying to wake up on a bloody hot day I found the RC of the TV. The official evening news was about to start. As usual I did not expect any good news. But then our own daily public news was interrupted to my surprise. A pleasant surprise. I woke up and was all smiles watching William and Kate and the baby showing of their first born. Live as it happened….awww…..
Then I was impressed by the way William handled the press with his son in his arms. I felt real joy for him and Kate.
I wonder why enjoyed the baby craze since I live in a monarchy myself and we can be as crazy as well but those Briton’s beat it all.

However the day after I feel a bit sorry for the little one already. No need to explain I guess? Although I think William and Kate will do anything possible to give their children a sort of normal life as much as is possible. And these two are obviously a genuinely couple and love each other. I wish them all the best.

And Javier and Penélope hit the jackpot. A girl! So they have a boy and a girl. Congrats to them as well.

Wishing all loving parents and their babies a good life. Bless the children. :)

I can’t figure out who’s the future female ruler on the left?
The Sun is a dreadful ‘newspaper’ but that’s one jolly pic! :D

hmm.. must be the wee Harper?

#4 Appollonia on 07.29.13 at 9:07 am

aha, cute Harper? Of course! The other little ones looks far more lovely and recognisable.

Last words about this baby craze. The idiocy the next day and the days after because Kate was “so brave to show her mummy tummy”! The madness of the internet for crying out loud.
This is all the fault of “perfect-toned-after-pregnancy-stars&models-as-soon-as-possible. And photoshop of course. I am beyond sick of it. Kate looked lovely and above all happy. That’s all I saw.

The absurdity of that madness left me speechless! To each body its own. It’s not a rubber band, she doesn’t just jump back into shape. Plus – if she had an epidural, which she surely had, I’m certain that someone with more medical knowledge than I could confirm or deny that the tummy takes more time to de-contract than sans epidural (I hadn’t and my tummy looked the size of an orange in 48h after birth. Each time).
