These, my dahlings, are supposed to be the key ingredients of the next big Mercedes Benz campaign thing. Karlie Kloss is one of the moment’s most sought – after models. Her energy and versatility make her a must – walk on every major runway during the Fashion Week and beyond.
While the last Mercedes Benz ad campaign – if you remember – was masterfully represented by Joan Smalls, I’m having a hard time guessing what this new one would be about. I would definitely see this as a teaser image, not the actual campaign, but maybe, with a little help from your, I’ll also see the better marketing angles of this photo by Ryan McGinley, directed by Jefferson Hack?
After all, when I see a silver mirror Mercedes Benz, the last thing that comes to mind is a snow – white horse and a stick thin model buttoned up to her neck in a very casual – yet un – sensual attitude. Where’s the catch?

Methinks the horse is for “horse power of the engines”. Karlie’s demure pose says Mercedes Benz is chic so not nouveau riche at all?
