That’s a lot to cop with, huh? I was browsing through Out, a website I use to visit every now and then and I found a title reading that Beth Ditto was getting married next year! Wow! I said to myself – it’s time to pen a short congratulations note for the very talented entertainer!
And then I started sinking into the article and soon discovered that Beth Ditto even wrote a tell – all book ‘From Coal to Diamonds’ (available here) where she describes her life so far, from the poor rural childhood in Judsonia, Arkansas to her coming out as a lesbian. Beth is set to marry her longtime friend and partner, Kristin Ogata whom she’s completely in love with and feeling blissful about, as she detailed in her Advocate interview. May they have a wonderful, accomplished life together and hoping she’ll share all about that through her music!
