Hello gorgeous! Don’t you just love Fashion Week talk? It always revolves around models, amazing clothes & accessories, great designers! What’s not to like, really? But did you ever consider talking food? During Fashion Week? It’s like talking BBQed ribs to a vegetarian! Great talk, but completely useless, right?

Well, no! Not right at all. Models do eat! And especially during the Fashion Week season when they have impossible working schedules, countless hours away from home and healthy food. And no time! Consider all that and you’ll understand why Jessica Stam resorted to healthy backstage snacks she bakes herself and keeps in her purse for quick biting. Kale Chips! Jessica Stam’s favorite snack recipe shared with Modelinia after the jump!

Healthy Model Food Jessica Stam

You’ll need ¼ – 1/3 cup olive oil; 3 garlic cloves, minced; 5 – 6ounce bag of fresh kale, salt & pepper.
Preheat oven to 400F. Warm the olive oil & the garlic over medium heat, cook for 1 minute (don’t let the garlic to turn brown, brown garlic means bitter garlic. No good. No). Remove from heat, add salt & pepper, stir. Pour over kale and toss until mixed. Spread the mix on a large baking sheet, bake about 20min. Enjoy!
