Few days ago, our dear friend Ellington, sent me this crazy beautiful pair of clogs in one of her lovely emails. Instant crush! These are, officially, on my favorite summer sandals list! I have a thing for clogs! They’re so comfy, so wearable, timeless, effortless statement pieces.

Plus, John Fluevog is a legendary label, so double the pleasure! The Halfmoon clogs come with either black leather or floral patterned Argentinian leather and a wooden, hand – carved 2.5” platform. Dreaming. Wanting! (thank you, Ellington; available here)

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I know from experience that this kind of shoes is not just exceptionally comfortable (and surprisingly light) but they stand the test of time and changing fashion. I trashed a pair while chasing a mad spider who stung the kids and I’m looking for the perfect clogs since. These Fluevogs are dangerously fitting the profile ;) (oh, also in black, Ellington ;) )

Yes Bridgette there really are people who wear them! : )
I had a pair rather similar to these but by Calvin Klein. LOVED THEM!
And I was complimented on them as well. And well made shoes are never heavy, and these are well made.
I was ever so sad when I had worn them out, but now I have found these and I am happy again!
And I love the fact that he is a Canadian shoe designer as well. ; )

Clogs have been around before and were considered to be ugly. I worked as a bartender in a awesome club (music!). My male co-worker wore them and was the laughing stock. While my feet did hurt his were fine at the end of the night. So I bought a black pair too. Only a certain ‘health conscious’ people wore these. I took them off asap after work.

These look better but are still not my style. And the price? I googled them $279? I don’t think so or if I had again a job like I had once I would considers these clogs and only if they are as comfy as the real health clogs. The original health clogs were way cheaper too.
