Ashley Greene is back for Donna Karan’s DKNY label, doing another season of advertising campaign for the house. DKNY Spring Summer 2012 looks fresh and city chic. I love the look, I love the rooftop view!
The setting is amazing, the contrasting colors of the DKNY clothes are simply dreamy, Ashley is charming, so there’s absolutely no reason this DKNY campaign won’t work. New York loves Ashley Greene and DKNY. And so do I! do hit the jump to fall in love (or click here for the gallery!)
The campaign, although it was set to illustrate the urban spirit of New York and, implicitly, of Donna Karan’s DKNY label, Ashley Greene’s ad campaign was photographed high on the rooftop of a skyscraper. Because right there, on top of an urban Manhattan building, is where you get to feel on top of the world.
Inez Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin cameras captured Ashley Greene’s beauty like never seen before, not even in the ubiquitous Twilight movies. Truth being told, Ashley is a natural beauty and a wonderful representative of the young generation, thus an excellent choice for this campaign.
Her style is usually un-complicated and pretty basic, as she confessed herself to being a skinny-flats-tshirt person who would rather up the cool factor with a piece of jewelry and/or a bag.
But what fades faster than beauty in this industry is fame. And as soon as the Twilight buzz was over, so was Ashley Greene’s modeling career (at least with Donna Karan). Perhaps a future movie will bring us future campaigns as well?
