Mary Katrantzou’s Fall Winter 2012 2013 collection was really difficult to pin among the trends we’ve seen so far taking Fashion Week by storm. There was no fur. No leather. But there was plenty of print material to make up for that!
Mary Katrantzou’s genius was all in the hard worked details, the hidden meanings of the many prints, the intricate sartorial pride that’s pushing her further and further in fashionista’s hearts. (she even worked a special collaboration with Topshop and some pieces of the collection are still available here). Undoubtedly one of the most interesting designers to watch, wouldn’t you say? It’s colour fun! I like it. I would wear the jumpsuit this summer already. The collection looks summery to me.
