You may have heard that Christopher Nolan has the next Batman movie in full filming mode and that The Dark Knight Rises will premiere next summer. After that long introduction, it’s time for a slight spoiler moment: Anne Hathaway is the new Catwoman.
As such, Anne Hathaway is performing some pretty amazing stunts. However, as all is but smoke and mirrors in the Hollywood Hills, Anne’s double is the one actually riding the danger waves. Check out the proof in images! (do hit the jump for larger pictures so you can convince yourself)

As a comicbook geek girl I must say that I was rather surprised by Nolan’s choice of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (Catwoman). I loved the other two Nolan Batman films but I have often been non impressed with his choices of leading ladies. Katie Holmes was horrid as Rachel Dawes and then Maggie G. took over and was a big improvement over Holmes but I still did not find her a good fit for the role and now Anne is Catwoman. I am sure the film will be a great success like the second one with the late Heath Ledger’s Joker (HE WAS AMAZING!!) but I am not feeling Anne as Selina she is not my idea of Catwoman, but who knows she may surprise me.
