Grace Kelly Barbie Doll, Must Have Barbie Of The Moment

With all the Royal Weddings fuss that’s going on right now, is no wonder that Mattel has decided to release a Grace Kelly Barbie Golden Label edition.

Three models are available in the second half of the year: a black dress with floral patterns which is called “The Romance” for it is the dress that Grace Kelly was wearing when she first met her Prince de Monaco at the 1955 Cannes Film Festival (awwww). A floor length blue chiffon gown as worn by Grace Kelly in “How To Catch A Thief” which is already available for $35 and the most impressive one: Grace Kelly Bride Barbie Doll!

The black dress, if you want to know all the details, is signed by no particular designer – it is an easy to sew pattern Grace Kelly modeled for the McCall Magazine. It also comes with matching coat and matching dress, navy pumps and matching floral headpiece. Sunglasses, gloves and hat are furthermore available in “The Romance” trousseau, which you’ll be able to find this October 2011, with the release of the Romance Grace Kelly.

As for the Bride Gown as worn by Grace Kelly when she married her Prince Rainier of Monaco – it’s every bit the gorgeousness worn by the stunning beauty, completed with pearl studs, lily of the valley bouquet and a matching clutch. The Grace Kelly Bride Barbie Doll will be available this very month, August 2011. (photos via 1, 2, 3, 4)

OHHHH! How lovely! I think that I will have to get this!
I would love one also of Audrey Hepburn of course and of Dorothy Dandridge too! And a Kate Hepburn Barbie would also be most welcome! : )

Oh, I’m sure they will issue an Audrey and most certainly a Kate! We just have to keep an eye on Mattel ;)
