Remember last years must have wellies? Don’t worry, I won’t frown if you haven’t the slightest idea! This article exists to make you forget about anything you knew about must have wellies prior to reading / seeing this!

(just for information – Jimmy Choo Hunter wellies – those were the rubber boots you just had to have if you wanted to join the crème de la crème of the hipsters fashionistas anywhere, everywhere!) Get ready for the Louis Vuitton rubber boots, daaahlings! It’s an entirely different, revolutionary perspective over the world of wellies! (the story continues right after the jump!)

Karen Elson W Magazine August 2011

So if you want to be fashionable this fall (and next spring), you must own at least a pair of Louis Vuitton high heeled rubber boots as shown in the Fall Winter 2011 2012 collection and modeled in the latest W Magazine by the beautiful Karen Elson! (yes, Louis Vuitton Wellies, hard to stomach, eh?) Take a look below and tell me you don’t want a pair and I simply won’t believe you! (and if you’re curious about the price – they go around $500 a pair)

I am more of a traditional wellies look kind of chica. I prefer the Hunter and the past/last season’s Jimmy Choos’ because these LV rainboots will become dated in no time, but the others are a classic.
I must say that I do LOVE the navy double breasted peacoat! Now that is a classic LV spin I could live with! : )

I still dream about a pair of bright red classic Hunters! ;) oh, and that double breasted peacoat? it’s crazy beautiful! A true classic.
