The iconic shoes label that is Jimmy Choo is going for the cosmetics market by launching its first perfume. Nothing unusual so far, except the campaign’s spokesperson is none the other but Tamara Mellon, co-founder of the Jimmy Choo brand.
Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh, the campaign image has a rather strange, cinematic and obscure feeling to it, with an inviting feeling accentuated by Tamara’s body position. Before I get all to analytic on the new Jimmy Choo perfume ad, I will just say that besides being a (maybe) clever advertorial move, it surely was a smart financial move, keeping it all in the house.
