Sarah Jessica Parker In Chanel Couture Dress For The 2010 Oscars

Unarguably colored and varied, the 2010 Oscars Red Carpet can always be classified as neutral on one side and vivid on the other. The neutrals, as already brought to you by Miley and Diane (and yes, even Carey with her lbd) open wide their club to Sarah Jessica Parker.

Wearing a Chanel Couture number (that she said was created especially for the night), SJP looks lovely even though she appeared stiff and tensed. There was not much Chanel for this Oscars edition so Sarah Jessica Parker is daring as always, even when wearing neutrals! Isn’t she? (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) That is a beautiful dress, but yes SJP does look a little stiff. The runway one looks nicer Sarah’s kind of looks like a knockoff, I know that it is not but it does a bit.

Agree again. Great dress on a stiff looking Sarah. It’s not the dress it’s Sarah imo. Her face looked odd too. She presented Costume Design with Tom Ford. LOL obvious choice right? Tom is still handsome but now he must be careful with the botox. Hair implants were great.

Oh, there was no “Armani of course” on the red carpet this year but “Tom Ford” for the men. Colin Firth showed off proud his label inside: Tom Ford for Colin Firth. I think we should mention the men too. Me and my (gay) friend got to sleep and he yelled: “OMG we forgot to watch the suits of Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin!” also Tom Ford! Tom has paid the stars a lot to wear his designs. Even my beloved winner Jeff Bridges wore Tom Ford!!

Sigh… Tom Ford is so very Grrr.
He looks like this guy I knew in first year university.
We use to flirt with each other but I was always too shy to go any further than that. I just kept my head down and studied. : )
Also my guy was not gay, so there was the difference.
But Tom does make a lovely suit.
: )
You are right about SJP Adriana, I do think that the flower on the front is not as big as the runway version.

Ellington and Kpriss (I know you both find Tom very GRRR….) Tom is still GRRR but has to take care not to use the needle too often to lose the GRRR-factor. Jeff Bridges, all wrinkled, was so very GRRR….
At first sight I didn’t like Sarah’s dress. Then I realised it was her and I began to love it as if the dress came to life for us?

Aww, have you ever met your “Tom Ford” again Ellington? I know what you mean. I can flirt like hell but when I really, really like a guy I look the other way if there’s something far more interesting…….and that’s not the way Ellington!! :))

Yes too much botox makes one look plastic. Tom should cut back a tad.
No we did not see each other again. I went on to do different studies in Russian literature and he focused on English literature and I went to grad school in England and lived there for seven years. I hope he is well though, but if I had to do it over again I would have gone for it, but hind sight and maturity often give us courage.
He was very handsome, witty and smart. :)

Awww, about that guy….. I´m still clumsy though…..:))

Tom really must take care. I think some wrinkles can be very charming.

Very interesting choice – it’s lovely and looks quite 1960s.
