Zoe Saldana’s Eternal Magic Fragrance By Avon

Zoe Saldana is my current favorite newcomer (does she still qualify for the newcomer status? After all, she consecutively starred in two amazing sci fi blockbusters: Star Trek and Avatar without even mentioning her previous work and the flicks to come!) and I confess I feel inspired whenever I lay eyes on her!

Not only she’s got an amazingly statuesque body and incredibly beautiful face, but she looks friendly, modest and oh-so-charming! Bottom line – she’s the perfect choice for an Avon perfume ad campaign. Eternal Magic by Avon has Zoe Saldana on its side! Doesn’t she look lovely? I love Zoe! I think she is fabu and pretty nifty.
I did see this photo on another site but they did not mention that it was part of an Avon ad.
She looks stellar and that shade of lilac is lovely.
Avon is pretty good at reaching to everyone so I am sure this will do well with Zoe along.
Avon also has (had?) Reece Witherspoon too. :)

Nice looking girl. I’ve still not seen her act though. But why is an actress who has her first blockbuster right away “Eternal Magic” and blabbers the same things as they all do in an “interview”?

I think it’s the marketing must: they ask the same questions, the stars must answer in a flattery manner, something that’ll make you buy the product thinking that the star in the ad actually uses the perfume/clothing/food article they’ve been hired to promote. If you ask me, I’d say it’s just a commercial maneuver and that’s the end of it. Zoe, Reese, Salma (before marrying into the LVMH empire, she used to represent Avon, didn’t she?) they all end up saying the same thing, don’t they?

She’s a good actress, Adriana, really makes you feel the role she’s playing which is a bit hard to find in the days of Kristen Stewart who’s a larger than life star and doesn’t know how to diversify her registry beyond teen drama.

Kpriss, I realise all that. I’m looking forward to see this lady act. It’s the same thing with music as in film: I rather see a great unknown band with passionate musicians playing their hart out than a larger than life band in a huge stadium.
I rather see good actors on stage these days than all the shallowness in films.
I wish though I didn’t see the same faces in campaigns. I read somewhere this line or something like that: I wish the marriage between fashion and related things and actors was over……Me too…..

(Same goes for press-junkets when they promote their films.)
