Miley Cyrus Does Harper’s Bazaar February 2010

If you thought the Emma Watson Summer 2010 Burberry controversy was pretty harsh to begin the year with, then get ready for Miley Cyrus on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, February 2010!

Haven’t seen that one coming, really! But there she is, looking all airbrushed and very Miley… It was an interesting job for the Photo retouching dep – while everyone was photoshopped into a younger appearance. Miley’s airbrushing added years to her face. I know she’s relevant for the young population, but still, Miley Cyrus on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar? (photo via)

Gosh, the poor thing looks twice her age here.

Ugly cover with all those texts. Cheapy….

Yes she does look twice her age in this photo. :(
Ah, yet another issue that I will mos def not be buying. I have no interest in Miley Cyrus, and I wonder if the Harper’s readership does? Maybe they are trying to attract the tweens?

I’d bypass it. I’m not convinced of Miley’s sense of style or image-identity as an ‘elegant woman’. She should stick to the kiddy-winky section until she’s at least 30.

Hate it all. The layout, the styling, the photoshop and of course, the model(sorry:D)

I always buy magazines with Miley on the cover. Miley mixes up her style with casual to dressup. She always looks good.

Very sad the depth that US Bazaar has sunk. The thought that Miley Cyrus is a reflection of women in 2010 is tragic? I think Courtney Love deserved her cover more!!!!!

Far be it from Bazaar to put a successful, assertive woman on it’s cover. Women talk about “girl power”. Well, here is the real thing.
