Depression is and mental illness are very rampant and they do not get the same attention as say AIDS or Cancer (not to say that they do not deserve the attention but all diseases and aliments deserve scrutiny not just "the sexy ones" to coin a phrase). Sadly people avoid the those who are depressed and or mentally ill, ( and there are many degrees of it) and think they should just "snap out of it", eat ice cream, or just do something fun or happy, or they are simply avoided and forgotten. It is not as simple as that. They do have strange lives, our models. As glamorous as they may look or make it look, the mess in the business is hardly comparable to any other industry...
