Now that's a valid point: I always asked how they deal with all kinds of public opinions! As children, especially! Going public with your face, your identity has some dark sides to it. People aren't always nice, you know. And the internet seems like such a perfect place to hide and cast the stone! Grown ups can't face criticism on the long run, not without some serious built-in shield... How does it affect such a young personality?

I can't tell. I've read a lot about this phenomenon. Also I was very obsessed with fashion as a 13 year old. Sewing, to knit, crochet, fantasize about it......I can't tell because times have changed so fast. There was no internet and I had to "read" magazines in the kiosk until an angry person said I had to go or buy something.....I believe I'm glad I was 13 back then. Tavi and Arlo kinda scare me, this or their culture scares me. Kids are so short young, really young and innocent and playful this is so bloody serious....:(

Oh well, I got also attention back then, punishment: go upstairs and change your clothes, or other kids saying nasty things and teased me lot and things like that. :P
