I know most mothers dream about dolling up their little girls, but what you should ask first is your baby doctor. If he/she’ll allow your baby to put on some high heels/platforms shoes, you’re a go! I wonder what’s wrong with normal shoes for young girls? Flats, anyone? (photos via)

That shoes seem more part of a costume ( like princess one) than normal shoes.
Probably Suri protested and cried till Katie let her put them on.

As a mother of two girls under the age of 4, I know all too well how much these little ladies want to be grown-ups, and they’ll wear anything in public that makes them look that way (mine love to use my skin care, makeup and perfume!) Before we judge Katie Holmes too harshly, I felt the need to suggest that it’s very likely Suri wanted to play ‘dress up’. I doubt her Mama put her up to this (at least, I sure hope not). I’m just amazed at how well Suri is walking in them!

Geesh, give poor Katie a break. I have a 5 yr old daughter and yes, once in a while they like to wear things like this. As long as it’s only once in a while, it does absolutely NO HARM. Just let kids be kids. Besides, I’ve heard this kid is a REAL SPOILED BRAT and gets whatever she wants. I bet she cried and whined until they just let her wear the shoes. I bet it’s “anything for Princess Suri”.
