I’m surprised at how much criticism Christian Siriano’s Payless line has received . . . it might not be groundbreaking, but he succeeded in making the first pair of Payless shoes I’d ever wear in public, and I think he deserves some commendation for that alone. Seriously, compared to every other cheap, tacky, ill-shaped shoe in that store, some of his offerings could be called downright stunning (have you seen the Alice & Olivia stuff? YUCK). It seems like he went as fashion-forward as he could manage & worked extremely well with the limitations of the materials (pretty much every shoe in that place is made out of something gross & plastic-y looking). I mean this IS Payless, not Siriano for Louboutin.

Indeed his designs are fabulous but with the shoes…I’m not so sure…even the models are walking strange

I like Christain Siriano but I do not like these shoes at all.
They remind me of the cloven hooves that Tim Curry wore in the fantasy film “Legend”( which is the ONLY Tom Cruise film that I like, it so beautifully filmed like a fairytale should be!). These shoes alarm me and not in a good way!
