Quentin Tarantino’s 20 Favorite Movies!

I know you ladies love a good movie! And that’s hard to come by since people are far from objective and they judge the films according to their very own values systems.

But when you take it from someone like Quentin Tarantino, it’s hard to ignore! So roll up your sleeves, take a pen and note (or, by all means, push print!) (there’s just an official no. 1 and from no. 2, alphabetically ordered, QT’s 19 favorite movies): 1. Battle Royale; Anything Else, Audition, The Blade, Boogie Nights, Dazed & Confused, Dogville, Fight Club, Fridays, The Host, The Insider, Joint Security Area, Lost in Translation, The Matrix, Memories of Murder, Police Story 3, Shaun of the Dead, Speed, Team America, Unbreakable. I do like some of Quentin’s choices. He does have varied taste. : )

Indeed! He goes from Lost In Translation to Blade? From what I see, Tarantino is trying hard to ubercool Asian movies. And (besides the classic Horror movies aka The Ring and so on) judging from “The Departed”‘s success, he may be in for a goldmine! That and Ben Stiller’s interest in Bollywood could bring some diversity to ol’ Hollywood.

As a matter of fact, I do know that for a fact you see, Tarantino is definitely not trying to be ubercool about Asian movies. He loves them since ages!! True words. He loves horror, zombies etc. B/C/D-movies too etc. There are some faves of mine his list. Like Boogie Nights and Fight Club and Shaun of The Dead…….and…..I type this with a smile…..let’s watch Mr. ADHD in that video.
The Blade is so great!!! I loved it too. Very intriguing! And The Host…I like what he says about Speed. It’s true remember?….I quit, what’s life without film?
