Talking about non-models and ad campaigns – did you know that Converse was aggressively advertising its customization service? Some of the following images may not be as appealing as Tom Ford or even Padma Lakshmi, the intellectual!
..but they do the job! I felt strangely ambivalent but since I’m 100% a Converse girl, I was highly indulgent with the new Hybrid Monsters wearing Converse One sneakers! Yes I too am a Converse chica! So very. As for these ads they kind of creep my out, but I have been to the site and tried my hand at designing different shoes and that was fun, but they said that they do not ship to Canada (yet?). :(
So until then I will just have to have fun making up my own styles. :)
Nice those Converse sneakers though the scary monsters, super freaks…eeeeeekkkkk…..
