I know! Yet it's what magazine editors continue to do to all their cover stars. It seems that nobody measures up naturally -not even models!

M.B.J. that's a very good question. Why turn people into a more exaggerated, grotesque version of themselves?

No way! They really photoshopped her to make her look bigger? That's just as sick as photoshopping skinny people to make them even skinnier. Why turn people into a more exaggerated, grotesque version of themselves? If they're not quite right they way they are naturally, the editors have no call putting them on the cover!

It is really not a shock that they want to make Beth Ditto far more Rubenesque than she is. Fashion is about extremes and if they are going to put a large lass on the cover of their magazine she better be a big as possible. Just an observation Ms. Ditto sure likes to take off her clothes a lot. I like her hair its cute.

Apparantly big or fat needs to be HUGE FAT. ENORMOUS. Fashion is about extremes isn't it? There can be nothing in between like "normal". Ah well, museums have wonderful art-work portrayed women looking like Beth and Adele (a fave of mine). Adele is very pretty imo. Not to speak about her singing talent.

I recommend to read the Sunday Times interview with Beth. It's interesting. Sunday Times is a pleasure on holidays in the UK at home I read Sunday Times online regurarly.
