Christy Turlington For Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2009 Ad Campaign

Christy Turlington. Yves Saint Laurent. That alone could be enough to light up our curiosity!

Keeping the super-quality of YSL ads, Stefano Pilati chose Christy Turlington for the Fall Winter 2009/2010 campaign. It’s all in the black and white, it’s all in the simple gorgeousness that is YSL, bonus the red lipstick! There’s just one thing bugging me: all that leather! (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)

Not easy to wear and not suited for every constitution out there, the luxurious rock’n’roll appearance of a leather outfit has the nasty downside of adding some pounds to anyone wearing a leather pant. Let alone a leather jumpsuit! But hey, it’s Christy for YSL, why should I complain? (these new bandages stilettos are supposed to replace the Tributes?) (photos via)

It’s freaking Christy, I love her, as YSL.

It’s great to see how YSL chose these supers staring in ads. I am now guessing who will star next season. And I would love to see the supers with great young model. It would be fantastic!!

Next? Linda E.? Though she reminds me too much of L’Oreal commercial these days. And Garnier for anti-wrinkle creams too of late…..
Yes, I know you all love her I did once too.
In the 90’s I also liked Nadja Auermann and Tatjana Patitz a lot. Both have -imo- a timeless and interesting kind of beauty. Just as Christy.

I want both jumpsuits….sighs….

Love Christy T! I adore the shoes!
She is fantastic! :)

I was thinking that Linda would be next, but Adriana has a point there: she’s too much into cosmetics to break it for YSL… Tatjana and Nadja would be great choices! I wouldn’t see Helena as the YSL woman (and if they’d reload the supers, I’d rather see Naomi than Kate).

I still have my heart sold for the Tributes, I can’t decide whether these new bandage stilettos could do the trick…

Luv all the supers from the ’90s but would luv to see Claudia Mason or Stephanie Roberts or Emma Balfour. There was such a great range of models back then not just the trinity or freedom 90 gals.
