Kiss I Was Made For Lovin’ You

It was about time I got into a little a rock’n’roll moment. A Friday break moment. A Kiss moment!

KissI was made for loving you is self-sufficient so I can hardly find words to describe it. As you might guess, it’s one of those special Friday Breaks I dedicate to my Adored Husband. Because… I was made for loving him and he was made for loving me and a zillion lives if we had, we’d still find each other! Enjoy this wonderful, brilliant Kiss-piece! (more about the song right after the jump!)

Kiss brought I was made for lovin’ you to life in 1979 though the Dynasty album. Heavily awarded, the single reached #1 in US Billboard chart, #6 in ARIA charts, Australia, #1 in Netherlands, #2 in Austria, Germany, France and Switzerland.

Listening to song its disco references become more and more obvious and even if Kiss is a hard rock band, they wanted to write & record a disco sound just to prove how easy it was to do so. Also, for their 30th anniversary performance, I was made for lovin’ you was played live in Australia with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (you can see it here)

LOL! I’ve never been a KISS fan but I’ve danced often on this song on parties or the disco! To me it is neither hard-rock or disco but it’s very catchy mainstream and a kind of a gimmick band.
Awww but the luv makes me smile girl!
