Just a comment here; in the official interview, Jeunet explains they didn't wanted the theme of this perfume movie to be a one-night-stand affair at all, but more like a lucky second chance the couple gets with the help of this iconic perfume… And that goes perfectly well with what you’re saying about that eternal-long romance… with Chanel No. 5, of course :)! And about Billie Holliday’s “I’m a fool to want to you”, I think they cut it perfectly at the end of the ad, leaving just “I love you” line and not some sad lines from in between…

I’ve used Chanel 5 soap and body lotion for quite some time. I had the perfume too. Preferred the soap and body lotion though. And I felt tempted too of late in the perfumery to buy it……but I’d just read that every 55 minutes a bottle was sold in the UK!
The ad is great but a bit too long for my taste.
I love Billie Holiday very much, not every day but there are moments….
Ah, I remember I’ve sent the link of the Carole Bouquet one Kpriss! Remember? Because I love that one too.

We need to push ourselves into the shops if we can: we’ve to support the economy! My latest excuse these days when I’ve bought something I don’t really need…..

I love Audrey Tautou, I think that she is c'est manifique! This Chanel ad is great, I love how it combines the old world, train travel and the new world digital cameras into one timeless and romantic experience. I also love Lady Day, her music is so poignant. I think this ad is now my favourite Chanel ad along with the one with Carole Bouquet with the Nina Simone song directed by Ridley Scott. Stylish and classy! : )
