I see a lot off old tattoos and they look afwul. Even Anouk's sleeve looks less beautiful than some years ago. She has gained weigth, which is fine, she looks still great and she is a mother of three! But gaining weight stretches the skin too.....so that also damages the tattoo. I've read the ink dissapears into the body.....arrgghh.... I'm very happy I could resist the temptation to get one! And oh, how I've been tempted..... I had no idea about Anouk's tattoo (and her children) if it wasn't for you (and this Pilati article) ;) But you're all in awe about Pilati's sleeve so I have to give in to the majority - I agree, it's a beautifully executed tattoo. But I'm so over body-ink-works that I can't fully appreciate its beauty. At some point, the ink fades away and the drawing becomes ghostly ordinary. But Marc Jacobs and his scattered tattoos are indeed chaotically tasteless. Whoa, thanks Adriana! Sorry.....I've seen something like this before. My favourite (Dutch) rock singer has since years such a gorgeous sleeve. This one is also beautiful done by a real tattoo artist.
