Karl Lagerfeld’s Barbie & Ken

You remember that Chanel iPhone application I told you about? That’s how I found out The Kaiser dressed up Barbie (and Ken)!

Barbie & Ken not only dressed up but also photographed by Karl Lagerfeld for Barbie’s 50th anniversary look very… Kaiser-ish! Even if Karl himself declares Barbie is a naïve touching beauty, the Colette exhibition featuring his Barbie-doings is as naïve-less as an adult magazine pictorial! Since we talked about the Lagerfeld-photo-typology, we might as well use it – this Barbie collection as imagined and captured by the Kaiser looks so much like the Chanel Accessories ad campaign (besides using the same male model – Baptiste Giabiconi) plus the Dom Perignon campaign that I just can’t see the naïve beauty Karl was preaching about…Add Pierre & Gilles to the soup and you’ve got Barbie, the Lagerfeld Edition! As for Barbie being naive well she is in the Kaiser’s world…We all are!

I can believe the barbie is wearing this gorgeous clothing ,and Largafeld plus chanel . This is like a dreams and all my favors designer .She looks so good .Barbie always its going to be in . I heard several time that’s she is old fashion and her looks in boring , guess what. she sells more than any other doll and its a pleasure to see her. i realize that it was in 2009 , but she always comes back.
