Talking about robots and models brought an interesting pictorial to my attention. Allure’s April 2009 issue holds the best content inside. The cover isn’t so impressing.
Although I appreciate Taylor Swift’s angelic voice and features, I’m not very curious to see her playing a fashion goddess. But this Allure is more special than I thought! Proving that she’s in great shape, Cindy Crawford tears a serious chunk of white break like it was nothing, then messes up with a robot, hangs herself from her queue and then, all tired, she takes a shower. She also admits (still) loving her body, even with cellulite (after all, she’s 43 year-old and she has two kids, “so leave me alone!”). Now I may be picky, but what’s that robot doing in Allure’s anti-ageing issue? And the hanging-yourself-from-your-own-hair-technique really bounces back the clock? Cindy looks fantastic!
Just checked out some Taylor Swift videos on YouTube. Hmm, not bad and not really interesting. She looks at moments like a blonde daughter of Marisa Tomei! Angelic voice? Though no one can beat, for me, Alison Krause’s angelic voice and beauty.
Sorry, its about Cindy….yes, she looks beautiful. I’ve no clue why she hangs on her ponytail and why there’s a terminatior robot involved? An artistic feel we don’t get? So I leave her alone as she requested.

I do wonder if the super models are back as a hype or because there are a lot of women around who have grown up with these models. They’ve become mothers too, have a career otherwise, or both, so these women can relate more to this models than to the younger ones?
All drugstores have now these enormous PR L’Oreal boards with Linda Evangelista as their face. So (almost) every week I’d ask someone: “Do you know who this is?” Most women don’t! But very surpisingly I’ve had almost four women whom asked me why they’d got rid of Isabella Rossellini for Lancôme! That’s ages ago!!! I’d had to google for this and that was in 1992. What an impact she had!

Cindy does look great!!! I love the Zimmerman swimsuit too. HOT!! I don’t think I have ever seen her looking bad, but I can’t help but wonder how much they have photoshopped on these pics….
