lalag, what you say is very denigrating. So the population of South-American or from Spain have no sense for fashion?
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe Ms Lima recently, after the birth of her daughter Valentina, walked a show for Louis Vuitton?

well just because you did a few runway show in your early career does not mean you are some HF mdoel. LOL to be one you have to at least be a favorite Vogue cover girl. and not supplement vogues. Vogue USA,Paris,Italia and UK. adriana has had what 3 vogue covers? all from brazil and spain. I hardly consider that any milestone. when she did do hf runway shows she always did the bikinis or lingerie. never the fashion! she is and always will be strictly seen and known as a lingeire/sexy model. no supermodel. her fashion portfolio is weak weak weak! and her expression is same same same. always.

Queeennn b: agree. I like it to watch shows from the 90′s sometimes -seems like yesterday- when the models were allowed to smile and all had their own walk and show personality with all kinds of smiles, witty, seductive, happy etc. etc.
Like our Doutzen Kroes can never show that beautiful sweet smile of hers! She’s so smart and funny why don’t they use it at times?

well girls, this Arnaldo guy is propably a teenager who hava had a change to see some of VS swimwear catalogs, im sure these are his scoures. But, im sure hes too young to remember adriana back to 90′s in HF shows. so dont take hes statments too seriouz.

I don’t see what the big deal is ..Adriana has a very strong facial expression and jaw line isn’t that what the fashion industry is looking for .

And Arnolodo Valerie I think you are one of those people who encouraged other people to destory the lime light of what fashion runwaym models should look like.

The original models from the 60′s -90′s except pulling twiggy out of this were full body normal healthy size models from what we see now dead looking ulgy skinny girls who in really life doen’t represent the norm fashionistas.

Back to Adriana she rocked this outfit like no other..VS model or HF model.
Givenchy has been in fashion industry for long time probably they miss the fun days where models fit and sale the clothes rightful.
The girl knows how to rock shoots and runways ..leave her be.

Well “dear” Arnaldo, I’ve been a huge fashion fan since I was five so I think I do know fashion, thank you not because I’m a VS fan (I can like both)

Adriana didn’t just do a “couple” of HF shows, she did well in the late 90′s (with couple appearances in the 2000′s-present), has worked with Meisel and did campaigns like Armani and Blumarine but VS snapped her up pretty quickly. She’s one of the few current VS lineups alongside Doutzen to get some HF style work.

She just switched agencies from DNA to Marilyn because she wanted to RETURN to high fashion and she’s appearantly going to appear in a HF campaign for FW/09!
