Sølve Sundsbø’s photography definitely grows on me with this pictorial. Managing to take Rosario Dawson out of Alexander, even if she’s doing an osé (daring) photo shoot is rather tricky, but he did it!
Pictures are never static with Sølve Sundsbø, if you remember the unspeakable beauty of the Danse Invitation pictorial, you’ll know what I mean! Rosario’s pictures from the New York Times Style Magazine, the Spring Fashion Issue 2009 while they may appear silent to you, I see a more than a thousand words in there. (don’t miss the rest of the story, a video and the pictures right after the jump!)
I deliberately wanted to shut myself down to celeb-fashion-related stories after doing the Oscars Red Carpet. But I couldn’t help it when I saw this very special issue, when I saw what Sølve Sundsbø made with Rosario! She’s such an energetic gorgeous young woman, I can’t look at the pictures and imagine her modelling. She has to talk, to move, to kick some cinematography into it!
Wearing Armani, Max Mara, Louis Vuitton or nothing at all, Rosario by Sølve talks about perfection. About that odd perfection you can see in Egyptian art or Roman statues. But maybe that’s just me. How do you feel this pictorial from Times Style Magazine? (you can read the interview and check out more from this Times Magazine Fashion Issue here)
