Kpriss, that’s funny because I’ve the idea that Angelina is more in love with Brad you see! I spare you [all] my theory! Only this, again, they did all too fast and too early in their relationship…
I did get your drift about what he said though. Its only a discussion…..

Haven’t you noticed I liked some other men on Stylefrizz? Must be your cold then. Hopes its getting better now.

I know what you’re saying about architecture (and design). I love all things arch-deco-design (you know that by now, with DecoJournal). And I agree that passion doesn’t imply professionalism, studies and all. But seeing Brad on the cover of Architectural Digest is like seeing Gwyneth on the Fashion Issue of Elle… They both look great up there, but neither is adequately qualified to be there.

About their couple I have to keep my serious reserves. I truly believe Brad is in love with Angelina but I can’t say the same about her. (who am I to judge that, anyway?). I was thinking that someone who loves his family can’t possibly compare them with a cuckoo’s nest (since the cuckoo’s always leaving his eggs in someone else’s nest and then the little cuckoos sometimes purposely cast the others offsprings to have more food and attention for themselves). Then again, I may be too sensitive about that..

I can hardly wait for the next male-on-stylefrizz ;)! I’m glad you liked this one!

I’ve read the article too. Kinda boring. I had more “fun” with the comments!
I agree with Ellington about the “cuckoo, killer instinct of the shark” etc. etc. comments. The couple also talks about “their chaos” at home a lot.
When Brad “was a slacker and smoking things he shouldn’t be” he was often in Amsterdam. Always attending the same coffee-shop. He was known here as a friendly guy, very laid back and everyone let him be….no papparazi around either. Even here that has changed a lot.
Anyway, I’ve still that “staged Hollywood happines feeling” about this couple. Can’t help it Ellington! Even more so since I’d read today that Angelina in an interview with ABC’s Nightline said that she’d rather see Brad win an Oscar than herself….

Anyway, I love the houses on the photos in New Orleans a lot. I would have loved to see the interiors too. I’d hope though that the original poor people who are still spread over the US have a change to live in one of this great house as well…..Nobody talks about these group anymore but we all know there are a kind of “refugees” from New Orleans in their own country in the US…..

Ok, I have now read the ‘W’ article on Brad, and I still like him, Angelina their family.
As for the shark and cuckoo’s nest analogies comments I don’t think that he meant at all the killer instinct of the shark but the keep moving or you will die aspect of the shark, and as for the cuckoo’s nest analogy, I think he was referring to the mad house that their home must be with four young kids running around and two wee babies. That’s all, but everyone will in the end see and read into it what they wish to see and read.

I did read the ‘Architectural Digest’ magazine with Brad Pitt on the cover. I understand that he has a passion for architecture ( I do myself) even though he has never studied it formally (I have not either formally). It was an interesting article shedding light on the designs of the homes he helped with in New Orleans. I have not read the ‘W’ article as of yet but I will give it a boo later (thanks for that Kpriss). I like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their large family. I feel that at least they are trying to do something positive with their money and fame, yes they may tend to be over the top at times but at least they are trying to be positive.
And yes Adriana I agree with your statement regarding Brad’s bourgouisness. (Hi Adriana! : ) )
Oh and I know that I am being a bit naughty but I simply cannot wait for the diatribe of hate that Susu will write regarding this posting about Brad!

On a lovely spot in France back in the late summer of 1992 I’d read the US movie-magazine Premiere. Which was back then THE movie magazine to purchase. I had a pleasant time to read that there was more about hunky Brad Pitt. Yes, about his passionate love for architecture. Not having an education as such doesn’t mean you can “study” it your way. It was an interesting read and I liked him even more.

Kpriss, thanks for the W interview. Its bookmarket and I’m gonna read with patience.
Without having read this interview about Brad trying so hard to be bourgouis? Maybe because he just is bourgouis? His background? I’m not negative, not at all……just a thought?
