Scarlett Johansson For D & G Cosmetics Ad Campaign 2009

I really missed a new Marilyn impersonator! It’s not completely unexpected coming from blonde Hollywood sensation Scarlett Johansson.

She has the right constitution, she has the right peroxide concentration and then there’s Photoshop. Chosen as the new 2009 spokesface for Dolce and Gabbana Cosmetics, Scarlett is this year’s Marilyn Monroe, courtesy of Solve Sundsbo. Every year there’s got to be a Scarlett – something, right? Some like it Scarlett. How about you? (via wwd)

There has been only one Marilyn Monroe. And I wish they let the woman rest in peace.

Scarlett is a Hollywood sensation? She’s Hollywood boredom to me.

Adriana, I agree with you re: leaving the poor woman alone. However, I do like Scarlett, I think she is gorgeous!

I think she has done a more convincing job, than what Lindsay Lohan ever did (that was the last impersonator I saw).

Marilyn Monroe is considered fair game to all because she died so young. She is always presented and rehashed in some way.
I do wish that they would leave her alone but alas they will not ever.
I like Scarlett (I adore her new husband he’s funny, cute and Canadian!) she is not afraid to try new things at times (singing, acting and modeling)she does not profess to be great at it all she just tries and I appreciate that, and she is gorgeous to look at. This new ad does what its suppose to do, make you look and think of Marilyn.

Ellington, sorry girl but Scarlett should better not sing! And her gorgeous look isn’t authentic as Madonna’s look isn’t but that’s the case for most of the people in Hollywood’s “Brave New World”.
She has a cute husband though. I didn’t know he was funny too. I do know he’s Canadian.

Yes she is not a great singer but she is not horrid. I do like how she sang ‘Summertime’ though, its pleasant. Not a jazz great at all (or ever) but pleasant.
Here is the youtube link if you care to give it a listen. : )

Of course I’ve listen to Scarlett singing! This is one of the songs I’ve heard. Sorry, to me she does sound like the next Idols contester…..
