Saltek, what on earth does Kanye’s past financial background has to do with anything? Do you mean that all people who are from a prosperous background can design? I am not a fan of Kanye’s shoes (I do like his music) but I would never say his or anyone’s basis for being allowed to do something or not do something should be predicated on whether or not someone came from money or not.
Really could you edify your position?

Well, i disagree. I love the sneakers and i’m going to buy them next week. the sneakers look basic and that’s good because you can match them with almost everything. They look also very classy. I’m from holland and the sneakers there are very boring so if you want something special you always have to go online. But not for this. This I can buy @ louis vuitton store PC hoofdstraat. So next week when I get my pocketmoney i’m going to buy these amazing sneakers! =D

I don’t care actually he could design shower curtains and it would still be the same for me.
A lot of celebrities want to ‘design’ and sadly someone lets them. They all seem to want to cross pollinate and in doing so make more money and get more attention. For example one of Tom Ford’s goals/delusions is to get into the movie business. They all seem to have inflated ideas of how far their talent actually stretches and who actually cares about what they wish to do and say. They will have an audience and buyers for whatever they claim to create. This will only fed their egos to the point of no return. :(

I really do dislike Kanye West and all his posturing about in the fashion industry, where he barges in with no justification using his celeb status.

These are very boring and have hardly been ‘designed’, but as you’ve said before it’s all about celebrities and more celebrities with Louis Vuitton, so it hardly matters and people will still buy them in droves..
