Taking a year off catwalk to enjoy and reconsider life after the tragic death of her (allegedly) boyfriend Heath Ledger, Gemma is expected to make her runway return this February. Only she was recently spotted on a beach in Australia looking rather unusual for her skinny figure. Her much awaited fashion comeback seems a bit problematic now and even if she reportedly had “fun eating” this passing vacationing year, some people are shocked and remain in disbelief when faced with the new Gemma. Well she has gotten older so her body has developed.I see nothing wrong with her having curves.
Unfortunately I’m not Der Kaiser or a fashion editor.
She’ll probably go on a diet to keep her contracts. Anyway she’s just a baby and the world is her oyster.
If Gemma is happy and healthy that is all that matters!
She’s been comfort eating. She was and still is devastated by the death of Heath.
Well, i think it’s a sign she needs to move on to something more meaningful than just posing and being pretty.
The life she had made her loose touch with reality.
I hope she knows she is more than just a pretty picture!

There’s nothing wrong with the curves of a woman and her being curvaceous. On the contrary! What’s most important, like you all say it, is that the woman in question feel good about herself, in her own skin, with her own weight.
But I doubt the fashion world and most definitely the catwalk are ready for such a heavy comeback!
i think that she most likely was not eating enough when she was wafer thin. not because of having an eating disorder but because it was a job requirement.
either way she was probably experiencing the same symptoms of an eating disorder. one of them is binging.
after heath ledger died she probably felt like there wasn’t much point to anything for a while and began giving into her natural instincts.
it’s sad. she’s probably not the size she would normally be because she has deprived herself for so long and now she is cramming in all that food she missed out on which causes her to put on massive weight.
i can understand why this happens. i have an eating disorder.

umm gross,,,that is not the gemma i know and love…she needs to either not eat for a while,only eat one meal a day,or go on a strict workout plan…..get back thin gemma!!…i love her so much and fat just ruins everyone…sure she’s not huge right now..but if this was to continue…she would be! this body will nott look good on the runways….at all!!!!

Eating must move one’s eyes closer to each other. I can’t say I’ve ever seen that before. But it must be her. The surfboard is a dead giveaway.
