Already into bedding and tabletops, Calvin Klein takes the next step towards furniture design. And retail.

And just like the clothes, the Calvin Klein Home Furniture line is clean, classic without unnecessary design risks but without leaving a strong impression either. There will be two collections available simultaneously: one that goes to Macy’s and one that doesn’t. The CK furniture retailing through Macy’s has three coordinates: City, Weekend and Destination. The highly sophisticated collection that won’t sell at Macy’s is called The Curator. Both furniture collections were received in awe by the critics. Maybe because it’s about Calvin Klein, the brand, and not just because of the furniture’s design, which I find rather dull (except for the leaf bed from the first picture). How do they look to you?
