Margiela or not, I’ve never been fond of a cloven toe. Remember Nike’s sporty version? It’s not the look that doesn’t appeal; it’s the imagined feel of the shoe. But then again, I don’t like the little foam pedicure assistants either.

Don’t judge if you know nothing about it! It’s the typical trademark of Martin Margiela, the famous Belgian designer. He became famous for these shoes, and for his deconstructed clothes. They’re great!

Since so many people cruelly mock her for horse-like features, perhaps wearing shoes that look like hooves is a way to be in on the joke?
