Wonderbra – The Original Ad Print

I first saw this ad three days ago and ever since I look at it and find it more and more brilliant. I haven’t solved the mystery of it being authentic or broken after being installed (maybe you can help me if you’ve seen it around).

If it originally showed just the girl presenting the dark wonderbra lingerie, then it was really blunt and dull. The magic touch was the broken glass (or the broken glass effect, but if you ask me, it looks pretty broken to me!). What do you say? Advertising magic or amateur-after-effect?

I get the impression that the model’s “weapons of mass destruction” did the breaking of the glass. I do not see how this would appeal to women to run right out and pick one of those bras up. It has not inspired me to do so. I think this ad is more like the cover of Maxim magazine for men.

I think its funny but it wouldn’t really persuade me to go out and buy a strapless black bra.I’m a little bothered by the emphasis on the nipples though.Still the ad works! Its attracted attention and got us talking about it.
