Every time I watch these two clips I get the goose bumps and tears in my eyes!

It’s such a beautiful song and such a great moment with the two ladies singing together, I can’t help it!

And even if the song is about two lovers (and such a special story there!) the music line is perfectly fitted for children. It’s bouncy and they love the rhythm.

But then again, there’s nothing like this story of two estranged lovers getting back together again.. for good this time! (you should watch Jeux D’enfants if you haven’t already!)

This is a very emotional moment. Jeanne Moreau is the queen of french cinema (think a cross between Liz Taylor and Meryl Streep and you get half the idea) and Vanessa is appropriately deferential… Jeanne is so enchanted and gracious that I was in tears watching the significance. I love them both too. AS FOR the remarks about a children’s theme song… well, the melody maybe but the lyrics are about lovers who connect, break up, reconnect rebreak up and so on… and they wonder why they get caught up in the whirlwind of life… it’s very sad and plaintive and TRUE….

Adriana, I loved that moment when she lifted her up! It’s impressive!

Ellington, I haven’t thought about a children’s tv theme song, but you’re right, there’s a lot of rhythm into it and children love that, it could work! especially with a puppets visual and tons of vivid colors!

Kpriss, ah, you’ve posted it! I feel flattered. I smile bright at this moment. I found it so suitable for a nice Friday Break. Indeed, see this two beautiful women whom I both like a lot. Its seemed to me Vanessa was a bit shy along the marvelous Jeanne and I love the end at the performence where Jeanne lift Vanessa up…so moving…
Its such a great chanson too….unforgetteable. A classic everybody must have seen.
I love Jeanne Moreau, I love the Film Noir. Merci bien Krpiss, you made my day!

A memorable moment!Jeanne was absolutely mesmerised by Vanessa freshness and woman/child beauty.I read she even compared Vanessa to her former bff Brigitte Bardot.I remember seing that scene on stage and was captivated by its sponteinity.Jeanne is timeless and Vanessa will be too.Merçi for this kpriss.Its your fault that I’ll probably be humming it all day long now!LOL!
