Why do women like wearing "soft" under things ? I've been told "Cause it makes me feel sexy all under", and just "It feels good". I guess these are sensations women would prefer to deny their "masculine men". Is it fear of competition? She has enough female competitors, now she has to compete with a boyfriend/husband who wants to be viewed as sexy and sexual. Most women would be surprised to find out just what their manly-man is wearing under that shining armor. Just because we wear silk, doesn't mean we can't be as rough as you like it. For those of you who think it's and odd mix of muscle and lace, I'm sure there are plenty of "whitey-tighties" out there just for you.

Ellington, you are absolutely right, and I apologize for the poor choice of words - my aproval or not is irrelevant and inappropriate. Please forgive and thank you for pointing it out. As to having felt singled-out, I meant nothing by it. You seemed to be the first/only woman among the commenters to express a personal distaste for this matter, so I used your name as the starting point. In hindsight, when combined with the clumsy word choice, I can see how it could have been taken badly. Please don't and accept again my apology for any misunderstanding.
Many thanks for your understanding and willingness to correct my error.

Hello Winterwhite, when stating a position in an argument or discussion it is fine to either agree or disagree. That I can accept,
but to say that you do not approve of my comments is a tad arrogant.
And why may I ask are my comments the only ones singled out?
Other than that I will say that what you stated was eloquently and thoughtfully said.
As I said before men can and may wear what they wish but I would not want to either date nor marry a man who has a predilection for wearing women's undergarments. Especially if he was "borrowing" mine, and kept it a secret. I still find it too effete for my taste and sensibilities and do not find it sexually attractive.

While I don't necessarily approve of Ellington's comments, I also can't help but empathize. I wear lingerie, and at first my fiancée's, but out of respect have bought my own...

What I think we men need to consider is that women can feel that men wearing women's lingerie (as opposed to men's sexy 'lingerie') can be construed as an affront to their own sense of femininity. Women already have to fight for so much in their lives, to gain that sense of equality, that to have the very symbol of their womanhood (sorry, but today still, a bra is undeniably female, as are other items such as garters, corsets etc.) 'borrowed' by a man (whom they already see as having everything handed to them on a silver platter due to the mere fact that they're MEN)... well, it can be upsetting.
My fiancée quite accurately described her feelings: that she thought maybe I didn't need her or want her, seeing as I'm quite happy in lingerie. She's wrong of course, but I can't convince her of it. I do understand how she may feel like the third wheel somehow - I'm a man, but I also get some form of womanhood through 'wearing'. But the fact is I don't. No matter what, I'm nevertheless a MAN and no amount of lingerie will ever render a woman obsolete.

I think it about time. Men should be able to wear what they want, just as women should be able to wear what they want.

If any women complains, then maybe they should stop wearing our clothes. Plain and simple.

As for married men, if your wife is restricting your basic freedoms, then maybe you should have made a wiser decision with who your decide to marry. She did not have any issues with your clothing when you started going out with her, did she?

What gives her the authority to change it after you get married?

Marriage is compromise, but if your the only one compromising and she is the only one who gets to dress you; then it isn't husband and wife, it's mother and son.

Grow some balls and take charge in the household. Demand some basic freedom. If she withholds sex, wait till she's sleep and jizz on her face.

Disclaimer: I am a single wealthy business man with two businesses. The opinions expressed above are my own. If you have any of the problems expressed above, it is probably best you get a relationship councilor to sort out your differences.

I am a very happily married straight man. I am a weightlifter and biker. I buy itmes from Bodyaware. My wife absolutely loves when I wear the sleek tactile thongs and fitted underwear. It drives her crazy in bed when I wear the stretchy soft mesh bodysuit. She absolutely cannot keep her hands off me.
I also shave my legs, which she loves madly. women love to glide along slinky smooth legs as much as Men do.
Beleive me - they do. It's not a gay thing, it is a sensual thing.
Start slowly with a pair of soft nylon or spandex undies (no they don't have to be frilly) and see how she likes it and then for a special treat buy a mesh boysuit from bodyaware (the only ones I know that sell one) and build her up for a surprise. Bring some scented oil and candles.
Men, you will be absolutely amazed at how turned and wild on your woman will be when she finds you are doing this for her and you are exploring the fringe areas in sexuality.

Good for you Kaleb, being a flamboyantly gay man( your words) it's non too surprising that you like wearing under ware like this.
Understanding works both ways, and so can the damaging effects and your summation of what is considered masculine or feminine is far too simply put. It goes far deeper than that. It is not simply a societal expression it is also intrinsically innate as is what makes someone straight or gay.
If a man wishes to wear undergarments like that, he can, but I would not be dating, or marrying him. As I said I find it too effete and sexually and intellectually off putting.
