Busy little bee, Mary-Kate Olsen. Besides her clothing line, her jewelry collection (with her twin sister, of course) she still has time to act.
Amazing girl! Such a shame she forgot to put on a dress and left the home with her bathrobe on. Oh well, I guess that when you’re doing so many things at once and everyone thinks you’re some kind of style wonder icon, you can pull many things. Besides this one. What do you make of her kimono-bathrobe thing?

Just because one has money and can afford expensive designers and is invited to their shows does not mean that one has an once of taste. She is not a style icon.
I have to disagree, both the olsen twins challenge the limitations that people like you put on the way we dress, mary-kate is not afraid to mix new trends and designers with other looks and styles. Just because she’s not wearing top-to-toe ‘designer’ at a designer show does not mean she doesn’t have taste, its just different to yours ellington
Ellington, I completely agree. You can’t buy style. Either you have it or you don’t. And Mary Kate sometimes seems to be paying to much and ending up without both money and style.
Ashleigh it’s true they sometimes challenge everyone’s patience when it comes to outfits but that’s not necessarily a good thing. I don’t embrace the all-designer look, the outfit’s wearer should come up with something personal too. But MK is very personal. Like this bathrobe number…
I can accept your comment, but what exactly do you mean by the term “people like me”?? And who is the ” we” you are talking about. Are you trying to create divisions without knowing who I am.
That is rather crass thing to say Ashleigh. I do not think that one has to dress in head to toe designers, to look good. I love creative people like Kate Moss, Daphne Guinness, Cate Blanchett, Agyness Deyn to name a few. They have taste and style and to me they wear the clothes, the clothes do not wear them.
But like you said it is a matter of opinion and taste is subjective.
Oh and I never mentioned that she had to wear top to toe designers at the shows. I was simply stating that just because one has money and has access to designers it does not automatically give you taste or style. I just do not think she looks good, but she does have some interesting ideas. Her clothes wear her, she does not wear the clothes. Nine times out of ten she gets railed on because people remember how bad she looks not how fabulous she looks.
