Yes, hopelessly ugly but on the other hand hopefully comfortable too. I won’t mind wearing these ones around the house. In silver as the ones left under. They do look like silver on my screen. No, no not on outings, no way.
But I’ve still a few pairs of shoes from Portugal that were hot here in the 90’s. In a lot of colors. They have a comfy footbed and cotton on the upside. They look a bit like very short socks meant for pumps i.e. Too outdated for outings but still lovely to wear inside because you walk on air. Your feet don’t sweat when it’s hot….hmm… After all it’s nice to feel comfortable at home.
