I am so saddened by the loss of Bruno’s wonderful sculpture garden. When I lived in Australia I visited the garden more than once and had looked forward to revisiting it when I return to vacation in Australia. Thankfully, I bought one of his tapes on my last tour.

So very sorry to hear of this great loss.

To Bruno Torfs – Thank you for the mystical journey. How sad the contrast is for these to be destroyed by such an unnecessary act. Please create more beauty for our eyes to travel through again once more. My thoughts go out to the communities, families and wildlife who were affected by this devastation.

I knew about the fires in Australia, but I didn´t know about Mr. Torfs until a friend, some days ago, sent me a pps. with his work. I so much admired his artistic talent and philosophy that I wanted to know about his place of birth exactly, South America is so big…, and traying to find it out I came across with this horrible news about his loss.Not only himself but the entire world will suffer it. All my sympathy for him and his family and hope he can react and start again, I am sure he will do so.
Meanwhile I am still thinking about the place where he was born.

I am so far unable to find an email address for Mr. Torfs, but would also like to express my deepest, and most heart felt sympathy for this terrible loss. It can be difficult for non-artistic people to understand that being an artist, and the works created, is not something that one does, it is what you are; and that said creations are a part of your very soul. It is indeed a heart rending loss.

Whaaat? Do I understand that all this beauty has been destroyed by the horrible fires recently in Australia?
Oh I’m deeply shocked….this was so amazing….I was yet so shocked by the fires and people losing all their belongings…..

I am a musician who was overwhelmed by the works of Mr. Torfs; my mindimeediately conjured up vast sums of music; perhaps one day it will form itself into a work as sublime and inventive as are Torf’s works. Naturally, these displays have been carefully photographed, and, I hope, cinematically preserved. Out of the deep sorrow of the loss of these works, we all know that Torfs will do many more projects which stem from his fertile imagination, and his deep knowledge of the Earth, and our REAL world … the world of visions, which are the true reality.
