Yesterday I found a dress I had my heart on for some time. I told you I’m a dress-girl.
This D&G Dolce and Gabbana dress featured in the fashion editorial from French Vogue (april 2008 issue) on Daria Werbowy comes from the Spring Summer rtw 2008 collection and has just about everything to please me. Floor length, ruffled, multi printed. I have a thing for gipsy looking prints.

The only thing I found wrong with this dress (if I would have found the price, then this would have been my “second only thing”) it’s the lack of straps. Normally it’s a very feminine cut, but carrying kids and strapless dresses don’t really make good friends. What are your favorite dresses?

The first dress is a clown-costume; totally unwearable. The second is pretty somehow, but begs the question: what happened after designing the top? After the hips it looks like a nevous breakdown.
Two attractive elements stitched together aren’t guaranteed to be comfortable to the eye.
Silly extragavanzas like in 1st pic I can understand and dismiss as entertaining showmanship.
I’m more concerned with the 2nd frock which almost makes it: It’s tipping toward the dismissable first, yet it has SUCH potential for a beautiful gown.
The two photos show the same dress, same nervous breakdown from hips down, as you call it, the very detail I found completely adorable. It needs a bit of free thinking and it will soon switch from unnecessary dismissable extravaganza to perfect chic.
