Young Israeli Designer Itay Ohaly carved out these wonderful rings from an old painting table, from a children furniture carpentry. Layers of acrylic paint were applied daily for four months in order to reach this thickness.
The result in rather charming, as the colorful layers of acrylic paint are sliced through to create surprising shapes. [...]

Boucheron’s Snake Necklace by Harumi Klossowska
Another Boucheron Anniversary, another snake necklace is born! This time it’s a twin blue snake made by Harumi Klossowska. There’s also an arm bracelet to match this necklace, both adorned with emeralds, sapphires, turquoise.
The Vesper snake jewelry was created for a powerful sensuous but dangerous woman. To be honest, all I can think of when [...]

Marc Jacobs And The Joy Of Working Out!
When I was a child, I loved some quality philosophy. When I grew up I was delighted to see how others thought about themselves as quality philosophers.
Marc Jacobs should stick to clothes. Or maybe he should embrace a stand up comedy career. He’s really gifted for that one, you know? Just remember how productive he [...]

Fake Karl Invasion
Found these. Couldn’t help it. They’re so lovely and so uneasy to digest in the same time, you have to give it at least a look.

Loewe Quizás, Quizás, Quizás Ad
I wanted to bring this commercial to your attention because I don’t think I got it all right. It’s for Loewe’s latest fragrance. It’s a beautiful short clip, rather charming in conception and manifestation. It was presented at the San Sebastian Film Festival, September 25th.
I’m unsure about the signification, however… So I’m posting this ad [...]

Easy Like A World In A Light Bulb!
This is a not a picture. This is a little world in a light bulb. The very thing we should preserve and treat like our most valuable gift – our (now) sensible ecosystem.
I look at this small world and want to believe there’s still hope for our children to grow up in a world where [...]

Karl Lagerfeld Vs Tom Ford Fashion Talk
How about that? Two fashion titans side by side, talking in complete harmony about tailoring!
Karl Lagerfeld and Tom Ford compliment each other on the making of clothes (unfortunately they’re talking about men suits! I would’ve loved hearing them detail the art of making women clothes). Don’t miss the science and the fun of two sartorialists [...]

All The Rage From BlackBook Magazine October 2008
Every now and then I find a little BlackBook pictorial incredibly beautiful. And not just because of its aesthetics, but because of its speech.
This October BlackBook fashion war looks appealing to me. Fighting with trends and designers in an endless war against seasons and economy itself, fashion grows in rage. It’s not all chic and [...]
